Honestly doesn't feel like it. I remember he hit one opposite in the gap but I don't remember his other hits. I do remember him whiffing on 3 straight change ups when everyone knew he wasn't getting fastballs. He doesn't seem to have it mentally right now but most of the hitters don't either.

You need more there from Yorke and Serna but I don’t hate the inning.
Got 4 guys on base. Worked through almost the entire lineup. Ran the pitch count up. Got a run.
That’s what Jay Johnson offenses do. Soon enough those bases loaded Ks become extra base hits and you put up crooked numbers.

he had a double and a single on Friday and a double on Saturday. And he had one of our 6 hits on Sunday. It doesn't sound like a lot but given no one else is hitting, putting someone on the bench who has the second best OBP on the team makes no sense

Didn’t Lyn just say he has a 3-game hitting streak? And he’s still walking. You can’t just look at him and say he’s horrible and needs to dropped in the lineup or taken out altogether unless someone is doing better. Our team’s ceiling can only be reached if Yorke is in the lineup hitting and continuing to get on base with walks and HBPs.
