LSU’s lines were clearly more powerful on both sides of the ball and defense was lights out for most of the day. LSU is about 10 points better than that ND team based off What I saw yesterday. However, coaching makes a huge difference and to win with our coach, you better be 2 touchdowns better.

If we get in from the 1inch line in the first quarter, I think we roll them.

Line judge made a bad spot then we jump offsides on 4th and miss the FG. Terrible sequence, but that ref could have easily said Etling made it in and no one would question. Didn’t get the bail out we needed.

Nope. Both teams were pretty good . Ya’ll forget that ND was in the top 4 late in the season and had a disaster in Miami. They just made a fabulous play at the end, and two 3-19 conversions that they earn with perfect execution.

Upvote. Kelly did to us this year exactly what he did in the Music City Bowl....replaced his starting QB with one we had not schemed or scouted.

and QB and kicker. We had better RB and defense overall except for the last 5 mins of the game.

we likely lost due to a "want to be hero" choosing to rip the ball off the ND's receivers hands and not just do his job and push him out.

We likely lost for a whole host of reasons stemming from a HC who is in over his head.

I will say this, if Arden Key, Donnie Alexander and Corey Thompson had played this game would not have even been close.

Looked like two pretty equally matched teams to me. The winner of the game caught breaks, we didn't. A couple of coaching decisions didnt help us either.
