Reading this thread only made me hungry. I am now preparing my own Kobe Bryant sandwich with a nice cool bottled water all for $2.25.

you have to worry about concession prices? you do not need to go to this game if you are pinching that many pennies.

No problem, I'll stay home. By the way, I'm selling my Escalade for $200,000 if you are interested. You seem like the perfect buyer. I mean you do want to ride to the game in style, right, so don't worry about penny pinching, concession prices, or transportation cost.

Actually, a lot of us have real jobs. many times it is not so much how much you make as it is how much you keep. Unlike you, I won't be having to pick up aluminum cans on the side of the road to supplement my retirement.

And it costs more than a fried catfish poboy?

So for your, a wife, and a child to eat bbq burgers and a drink it would be over $70? WOW, why not jsut go to Ruth's Chris and all have steak for less than that?

you must be my college daughter's age. She is a senior in her final semester and is asking, "should I get a job or go directly to graduate school" when she can't pay her cell phone bill, but chooses to buy $300 coach purses.

I say to you like I tell her. If you are worried about making ends meet, going to LSU football games is not an option when you can go to work!
No I do not drive an escalade, eddie bauer expedition for what its worth, but I can assure you I didn't pay cash for it.
NO I AM NOT GOING TO WATCH A STUPID arse AGGIE GAME IN DALLAS EVETHOUGH I CAN AFFORD IT! Seen enough of those while I was in college.

It's in Cowboy's Stadium.... duh.

When I worked at Disney it was the same thing. A hot dog is $6.50.

Complaining about paying $5 for a bottled water that cost probably < $0.25 is warranted.

Not really. If you pay it..then complain...you are a damn fool. No one is forced to buy a thing. they can charge what the hell they want, and you can purchase it if you choose.

i agree with this ... we had a long thread on here during the LSU 2009 baseball season about concession prices at the new box ... if you don't want to pay them .. don't pay them .. bring your own shite in in a purse or whatever .. or eat before you come ... concessions is just a part of the "entertainment" aspect of a sporting event .. not a right ... you don't see people bitching about cowboys t-shirts costing $45 in the stadium gift shop ... it's the same damn thing ..
