I think we are really missing Guidry at this point if the season. We need him bad but I’m not gonna sit here and bash Cowan. I want to put the blame on Yeskie why are you calling changeups when they are sitting on it???? Does he not have a curveball or slider???? That’s a pitching coach problem. Did he miss his spot? Yes. It ultimately falls on yeskie and Jay. I still have confidence in Cowan. Just really bad pitch calling in my opinion. I think that is one of Yeskies biggest mistakes he’s made these past 2 seasons he has to be better and adjust. What he has done with development is amazing but subpar pitch calling imo.
