Yes, it did blow up in his face in a rather spectacular fashion. He has egg-whites all over his face right now - at least I *think* it's egg whites. Oh my . . . I really hope that's egg whites all over his face right now and not something else.

IMO, that is just a manufactured rumor to justify his other mistakes.
In hind sight, keeping Wade would not have cost us a Football Championship. Non won.
If Wade had staid, and football stumbled as it has, he could have blamed Wade and the NCAA.

What's really funny about the situation is all I'm seeing from press articles (yahoo sports) is positive coverage for Wade. "It's clear NC ST has a winner," is one column title, a complete 180 in narrative switch. Phonies

Pat Forde was allowed to ask the first question in the post game press conf. Wade’s face dropped but he didn’t lose his composure.

All of those writers can go frick themselves. They caused all of the problems for Wade and LSU.
