crowton has to learn how to call the option with the right personnel and in the right spots. he's still learning how to incorporate it in
This needs to start happening this year, IMO. Crowton has all the pieces in place now. I disagree that the Flynn/Hester short side option was a good play call. Those plays were not executed correctly and the sweeps they tried from this formation failed as well. The only really good run/option plays in 2007 were with RP running the show. (I'm not counting the Flynn QB keepers that were somewhat successful).

No more excuses for Crowton, it's time for him to unleash with the athletes that we have, and make use of what he has on the field.

Although Georgia Tech had a good team this past year, they have "maxed out" on terms of potential. That is the best they'll ever do, which isn't bad for Georgia Tech.

I'm not commenting on the option, but I'm pretty sure GT went undefeated in 1990 and shared the NC with Colorado.

JJ, if trained, could be a pretty good WR with his height and athletic ability

JJ has all the athletic ability to be a great college runner

JJ is a pocket QB and has been trained that way for years. he doesn't know how "to run" and he's out of sorts in the running game

if he can work on this? watch out

your knowledge of this is probably a lot greater than mine slow but this sounds like a really GOOD thing. i just see so much upside with JJ , just a lot of god given talent. if he can put it all together its gonna be something to see !
