It wouldn't be close...Men play above the rim and women don't.

Do you not understand the difference in athletic ability between the sexes? A good D-III men's team would pulverize the UConn women.

Great question
Thanks for reminding us that slower, weaker, smaller and less athletic teams usually dominate the game of basketball.
He's not alone in that line of thought apparently.
I do think it's an interesting topic though. At what point does it become a fair matchup across the board? There are obviously multiple HS teams that would smash UConn women.
How would UConn women fare against the top 8th grade AAU team? Look at the top 8th graders in the country. After seeing this list, I don't think that UConn could even beat them.
No. 1 Jaedon LeDee, Point Guard, 6’5?, Houston, TX
No. 2 Marvin Bagley, Forward, 6’9?, Phoenix, AZ
No. 3 EJ Montgomery, Forward, 6’10”, Fort Pierce, FL
No. 4 Nazreon Reid, Center, 6’9?, Asbury, NJ
No. 5 Damon Harge, Point Guard, 5’9?, Orlando, FL
No. 6 LaDarius Marshall, Guard, 6’3?, Jackson, MS
No. 7 Will Dillard, Guard, 6’4?, Greensboro, NC
No. 8 Deshang William-Weaver, Center, 6’8?, Cypress, TX
No. 9 Chase Adams, Point Guard, 5’4? Chicago, IL
No. 10 Jalen Preston 6’2?, Guard, Pearland, Texas
I'd have to think the skill and experience of UConn would be a tremendous advantage but how are they going to rebound against these guys? I don't doubt that UConn could take some games but I wonder at what level vs males would they utterly dominate?

I would say 110-35.
damn our defense must really suck. The women shouldn't be able to score 20

We'll never know.

I think it would be high scoring. They could not defend us but neither could we defend them. When teams move the ball we don't. UConn ladies would rain 3s on our fellas.

Me (former HS and marginal college player - about 32 years old at the time this happened) and four (male) scrubs, one of whom was fit and played in HS (he was in his early 20s), beat the life out of the Baylor women's team in a pickup game at the YMCA in Hattiesburg in December of 2012 while they were in town for a game against Southern Miss.
It wasn't even close. FWIW, that was the first time the five of us male players had ever played a game as a team, and we dominated one of the top women's teams in the country.

I doubt the womens UConn team could beat the Alexandria Senior High hoops team.

Our men's team would kick their arse. Dude u can't be serious.

Our men's team doesn't play defense so the woman would prob score about 65. We'd score 110

You are as dumb as the OP. I would be willing to bet that they don't make more than 2 threes.
How do you think they would get open? Men would go over, around and through every screen with ease. The women could put max effort into running their offense and the men would barely have to move to stay right with them.
