The SEC is the abusive husband that keeps slapping LSU around and we'll keep on going back because we think that deep down he really loves us.
It's time that we just take the kids and go to stay with our mom for awhile to figure things out.

It would be a meaningless threat.
The Big 12 is on the brink of extinction. LSU is not going to join the Big 12, so threatening to do so would have zero impact on anything.

I am willing to listen to any other Conference.
Let's face it this isn't the old SEC any longer to begin with. LSU is treated poorly and I am fed up with the Bama homerism and every decision seems to benefit Bama or Florida or we are expected to play A&M whenever the frick they want us to.
Then the fact that the SEC just abandons LSU and doesn't consider the ramifications of their decisions as it concerns and affects LSU.
The SEC has almost outgrown its' usefullness.
Let's face it this isn't the old SEC any longer to begin with. LSU is treated poorly and I am fed up with the Bama homerism and every decision seems to benefit Bama or Florida or we are expected to play A&M whenever the frick they want us to.

Awesome post and sad because it's true about the SEC slapping us around. But most of our fan base realize that the SEC doesn't love us and doesn't EVER protect our interests. It doesn't matter what corrupt Commissioner they have, LSU will always draw the short straw. They look out for the Aggies more than they ever have for us, a charter member of the SEC!
I think our fans would tolerate this better if our Administration would man up and quit tiptoeing around these bastards. In every situation we bend over and always look like the whiny bitches. I want an AD who is honest and hostile and draws first blood on the SEC office. Quit being afraid of making them mad, really how much worse can they treat us? They need to be held accountable for their actions and their bias.
