"Random" 4-8 seasons don't just happen. A lot of things would have to go wrong from where LSU was last year.

God, that STILL makes me want to blow my brains out.

Living in Mobile, and havingn to listen to Bama fans say,"There was no proof he had possession." and actually mean it was terrorizing.

Nope, he would be forced out. We were a couple of plays away from 5 losses last season. Four losses is possible this season with our impossible schedule.

Saban would have a much better chance of surviving 4-8 than miles. hell miles was a "lucky idiot" when he was winnning the national title. if we was 4-8 people would think he was the dumbest coach of all time
You're underestimating the delusion and stupidity of your own fanbase. They ran Stallings out of town.

My dynasty on NCAA 12 thinks LSU will go 4-8. (I'm not playing as LSU)

I restored Texas to its former glory! What have you done? haha. I would like to play you sometime. Also: Why OSU?

I don't remember why.
The favorite team thing doesn't really mean anything to me here.

If Texas isn't firing Mack Brown for going 5-7, then we're not going to fire Miles.

well first let's consider how much pull the public has in deciding the fate of a university employee...

No.
Les Miles All-Time - 70.3 Winning percentage, 1 NC
Mutt Brown All-Time - 66.9 winning percentage, 1 NC

If Miles goes 4-8, that would mean we lost to every legit team on our schedule. I am a Miles fan. I would want him to pack up.
Posted on 8/6/11 at 8:20 am to tigerfoot
well its not going to happen. Also no way he could survive 2 straight 4-8 years. im sorry but LSU isn't ole miss, If we needed to fire les it would be done.

This. CLMs resume is as good as any. And, he is no lucky idiot. Is it possible to get lucky for 10 years as a HC? No.
In addition to CLM accomplishments at LSU, CLM took over an abysmal OSU program from 2-9 when he took over and built a winner. In fact, OSU is still benefitting from the foundation CLM laid down. See the USA Today poll.
