I cannot believe this crap. When was the last time a Les Miles LSU team got rolled in a bowl game? It could happen. The team hasn't met some expectations this season. But a month preparing for one opponent is a long time. And the talent is there. Underdogs rule the bowl season. Wasn't LSU a fairly big underdog to Miami in the Chic-fil-A?

Ole Miss would be stupid to decline the Cotton. So would LSU. Show up and play.

How many pussies can one topic bring out? Ya'll are afraid to play a flag football team from the Big 12? What the frick? Pussies galore. Tech wouldn't beat us. We'd run the ball down their fricking throat like Texas should have down and like Oklahoma did! Pussies please leave.

Secondly, money doesn't matter. All SEC teams make the same amount, including Tenn who will be watching from the couch.

Thirdly, Texas is full of LSU fans. While people in the BR and NO areas might not travel to Dallas, fans in Houton and Dallas will most def travel. And in case you forgot, we won the NC last year and have two trophies on the shelf, so having the defending national champs with a huge Texas fanbase play in their game, could be more appealing than a resurgent Ole Miss team. No one gives a frick how a team is playing esp the bowls. They only care about the dollars.

This thread is just fricking idiotic.

I'm not afraid for LSU to play them, but that said, they would likely destroy us. You can't possibly be comparing us to Texas or OU this season, both of whom would wipe the floor with us. What part of our 37 yds rushing against Ole Miss convinces you we could run on TT? And even if we could run on them, how do you suggest we stop their offense? Have you watched our defense this year? TT's so-so defense is still better than our horrible one. And we've played no one with an offense as good as TT's...no one.

Ole Miss is said to rather play in Chick Fil A bowl, because they recruit more in the Atlanta area. I'm sure this is Germans but it was reported on the Buddy songy show earlier.

Neither LSU or Ole Miss should WANT to play in the Cotton........arse kickin just a waitin!

However, if it comes down to Cotton or Independance Bowl, take the Indy Bowl.

Ok, I'm going to finally come out and say it on the rant. LSU fans are a bunch of morons.

I just don't like the Cotton Bowl because of it being an early game and is generally very cold. I agree that which ever SEC team plays (esp LSU with JJ) in the Cotton Bowl has a shot. I think it goes without saying that a team that plays the number one team in the nation to a one score loss in overtime has the ability to play with anyone. From top to bottom there is no doubt in my mind the SEC is stronger which should favor an SEC team plus if for no other reason whichever Big 12 team is there will feel they should have been playing a BCS game (unless it happens to be Missouri).

I well remember the 1966 Cotton Bowl when LSU went to play the number one ranked and undefeated Arkansas Razorbacks when LSU had 3 losses. The media used the slogan "LS Who" but before the day was over they very well knew. I am well aware of what LSU can do but the question is which team shows up. Traditional I have always felt better when we were the underdog the Chiuck-fil-A Bowl being a good example. The question is will LSU or the imposters dressed up like the LSU show up.

Cotton Bowl is at 1pm now. They also redid the stadium seating, but you still need to have Christina Aguilera's arse to fit in them.

definitely should have expected this from someone who has less than 100 posts...But Geez! "A flag football team from the Big 12"??? Considering that is the SUPERIOR conference OVERALL this year, what does that make us? "A two-hand touch below the waist football team?"

I'm hoping for the Outback. The Peach would be OK.

As Hank Hill said "Dallas? I don't want you goin' to Dallas at all. That place is crawlin' with crack-heads and debutantes, and half of 'em play for the Cowboys."
