Is Bama outspending the rest of the country in football the reason for their success or is it Saban ?

Read your question out loud a few times and think about potential answers…

I can answer it for you if you like.
Nicky don’t work for free, nor does his flock of former head coaches/analysts.

Pawl wearing down has given people PTSD and lumping all in with him. Has Corbin showed he no longer wants to be involved in recruiting ? Does he make lazy arse staff hires? Has he admitted to coasting following his NC?

Exactly.

The man is 60, not 80

Opportunity Vanderbilt has also only been around since 2008

Corbin has used the endowment the entire time he's been at Candy.

Opportunity Candy wasn't officially launched until 08.

It’s pretty ridiculous what some people here believe they’re doing with Opportunity Vanderbilt

Why all the anger Bro? I’m not going to try to argue with you because it’s like beating my head against a wall. It’s extremely doubtful that Corbin would leave Vandy for any job, but LSU is a VERY good job IMO and would be tempting. I just don’t think he would be interested in leaving at this point in his career. Now, would he use an opening like LSU to get raises for his staff and improved facilities? Probably so. He’d be stupid not to. One thing Vandy does is pay its coaches well, so I think you’ll continue to see Corbin as the highest paid coach in the country. Could LSU lure him away? Anything is possible for sure but I would be completely shocked. He has built Vanderbilts program from the ground up and turned it into something very special. It really is like a family. But, like I said, anything can happen.

I'm not arguing. I agree that Corbin's not leaving VU for any other job. He's not leaving the Belle Meade life for any where. Especially since he'd have to work as in recruit. All things equal VU teams are average at best EXCEPT baseball where all things are not equal. Oppt Candy is a HUGE unfair advantage

Unfair like way easier admissions, way cheaper tuition, way more fans, way more money and facilities?

This is Corbin's last chance to use the LSU opening as a way to get one last raise from Vandy

Tuition is completely covered by Opportunity Candy. Higher admission standards is BS for athletes. I know a guy whose kid signed with Candy but opted for pros. His ACT was a 23. Private means no disclosures.
