The University of Tennessee is located in a beautiful part of the state. It’s a shame really. They should move it to Memphis.

Indiana would be 7-4 against Vandy’s schedule tops.

Laugh it up fellas. He’s 23 years old. Not even close to being the oldest QB in the league.

He’s played 4 years of NCAA football, has a college degree and is working on his masters. What he’s done at Vanderbilt is nothing short of amazing. He’s the best player in the country this year hands down.

Kid grew up without a father and is finding his way.

Happy Veterans Day

I know there are several of us on here that are serving and have served in the Armed Forces of the United States. Thank you all for what you’ve done and are doing.

Happy Veterans Day!

It’s one of those plays where you can watch it and see whatever you want to see. I feel bad that the kid got hurt. I never want to see anyone get injured.

I really do think the Vandy defender was just trying to hold on and not let Pribula get loose. Maybe he didn’t hear the whistle because of the crowd noise. Maybe I just don’t want to think that any of our players would try to hurt anyone on purpose. We all know about the pinching and nut twisting that goes on in piles, but this was out in the open. It just looks like he was holding on for dear life to me.

You absolutely can’t tell from that video if it was dirty or not. He had a hold of the leg and held on for dear life. Wasn’t going to let him score.

I’ve never seen anything dirty from our players. They do run their mouths a little but they’ve been beaten to a pulp for years and they’re not taking it this year.

I don’t think it was a dirty play. It sucks that he was injured, but those kinds of plays, where a guy is held by the leg, fighting for yardage are brutal. You guys act like he was doing a gator roll. All I saw was him holding on for dear life and the other defenders plow Pribula over, resulting in the injury.
Lea would entertain offers for no other reason than to hold the admins feet to fire and get more NIL/ facilities.

Vandy already has a fairly new indoor practice field but they’ll build them a new one, with top notch amenities to go along with it. The stadium renovation will then resume with upper decks on the sides, chair backs and more suites.

Vandy is going to capitalize on the Titans sucking arse. They are becoming the big ticket in Nashville. Celebrities are jumping on board.

Now, if the admin for some reason balks at Lea’s demands then he could leave out of frustration but I don’t think they’re going to. Vandy is his dream job and he wants to build the program into a powerhouse.

It’s always Vanderbilt. People can’t mentally comprehend losing to us and it breaks them down. It’s been that way for years, but has become more common recently. So far this season, we’ve gotten Brent Pry from Virginia Tech and now BK fired. If DeBoer hadn’t have been in year one when we beat them he probably would’ve been fired last year.

Who’s next? We’ll see what happens with Shane Beamer. Hugh Freeze will probably go down. TN fans are getting restless about Hewpull. Stoops make get the axe. This is gonna set a record this season.

I heard Tony V’s buyout was only $3 million.

TV lost his last three games against Vandy, the final one being a 10-0 run rule shutout. Good to know that’ll be his last memory of the good guys to the west.

They cracked down on doctored bats this last season and it hindered their offense enough to push him out. It’ll be a lot harder to cheat his way to success in the Big Show.

I guess the same reason ya’ll are the Tigers and they’re aren’t any tigers in North America.

Actually it was Cornelius Vanderbilt’s nickname.

Country music has been infiltrated and tainted. I blame those North and West of Tennessee.

They lost those games after we ruined them. Try and keep up.

These are the only two schools that were made to kick off their conference slate with two road games.

Vandy started their SEC schedule @ South Carolina and @ Bama. BTW, Carolina was ranked #11 when we beat them. We played at Virginia Tech which is a tough place to play and humiliated them. You fail to consider the fact that when we beat teams, we tend to ruin them. It’s happened for years. Teams can be having a fine season, then if we beat them they’re psychologically damaged beyond repair.

Vandy’s schedule at the start of the season was considered very hard. What you knuckleheads can’t seem to wrap your heads around is that when Vandy is good, they add an unexpected loss to teams expecting that win and it mucks things up. Sorry.
Well, here’s what I’ve done over the years. I would watch Tennessee games and cheer against them, but they’ve been decent so that kind of sucks too. I like to go hiking. It’s a beautiful time of year and getting out in the woods lets you escape the pain of a horrible football team. Turn the TV off. Maybe take up a hobby.

When Derek Mason was here I just stopped watching. I was a season ticket holder for years and just stopped going. Man, I didn’t go to a Vandy football game for 9 years. I found that the fall season became a lot more enjoyable. I had more free time to do things.
There were a lot of us that wanted to make a change after the 2-10 season two years ago. The coordinators were crap.

Thankfully, Lea looked at the situation and saw that it needed to change. He fired a couple of friends and went out and found the guys to make it work.

Derek Mason, along with the previous school administration left this program in shambles. They were more concerned with DEI type goals than winning games. It came from the top down.

A new university president came in and decided that athletics were worth investing in. Lea was given the resources needed to get things on the right track. His goal is to build the football program into what the baseball program is and he’s being given the resources to make it happen.

Vandy’s NIL is still near the bottom of the league though. They’re working on it and more money is starting to come in. Big donors just needed to see that the administration was serious about winning for the first time in a very very long time.

Pretty ridiculous he's playing against guys who were 11 years old when he started his college career

As opposed to “normal” redshirt seniors playing against guys who were 12 years old when they started their college careers, like Joe Burrow did. My God it’s awful.
If he played for the Tigahs you’d love him.

Utah State has one of the best offenses in the country. 14 of the 35 were given up by our reserves in mop up duty. Our offense has turned into more of an explosive play type offense instead of the ball control style from last year. We have a new offensive line and new faster receivers. Our RB room is very deep. Now, we could lose this game for sure. Bama is one of the best teams in the nation. This Vandy team has blow everyone out so it’s hard to say how they’ll react to a close game.
