Here goes...

1) Off the top,if you are choosing sides here, 18handicap is a good guy, educote is a certified a-hole. Choose wisely.

2) educote has made a habit of coming on this site and absolutely trashing Beth Torina and her coaching ability. This would be the same Beth Torina who has led LSU to consecutive 3rd place national finishes. Here is some of his handy work A post that summarizes some of the things he said

3) educote criticizes certain players to a point where it becomes personal and hateful. It is one thing to criticize constructively...he goes way over the line. The one main player he had a disdain for was Emily Griggs, and her dad, who has a strong personality, has taken offense to some of his comments during the season.

4) educote was in OKC and spent a lot of time talking shite about the LSU team that he was supposedly there rooting for.

5) Apparently, educote was seen around the team bus after they were eliminated spewing venom. I wasn't there so I don't know....but that is what 18handicap claims to have seen.

6) educote spends a lot of time claiming that there is dissension on the team, bad apples on the team, and other speculative crap that he should basically keep to himself.

Basically, if you take all of the knowledgeable softball posters on this site who follow the team and put them in a room, educote would be on one side of the room alone while the others chatted intelligently about the program and the team.

Thanks for the good words... educote's accusations today should confirm what I "claim" to have witnessed after the loss to OU at the WCWS. I would rather keep what I saw off of the forums because I don't want to involve any player or parent in this mess. Educote pretty much said it and I can verify it but in the opposite, but again I would rather leave the player and family out of it.

One day I hate to say, but I'll be able to tell him, "I told you so," when he is put in his place.

Also remember that most of us are not calling him names, but he calls us names every chance he can get.

As you read, I had chances, but my LSU friends convinced me it was better not to confront him in OKC. If he is allowed to come to Tiger Park, or any LSU facility next season, which I doubt, and I run into him, I will discuss this.

I don't know what happened nor do i want to know it is none of my business but sounds like educote needs some help because he's gonna mouth off to the wrong person and get knocked out it's just a matter of time.

yeah i mean this isn't les miles we are talking about or some thug criminal player. This clown runs down beth and emily griggs? WTF? college girls who bust their asses day in and day out? unreal. parents and other coaches at all levels won't put up with that shite i can tell you right know.

I really am surprised Emily Griggs' dad hasn't cleaned his clock. He (Griggs) has a VERY strong personality, but with that he is also very intelligent and knows that confronting a jackass will do more harm than good in the long run, so that is why it hasn't happened, IMO.

Here is where it gets touchy. educote's sister was an All-American player at LSU when the program first started 20 years ago and is a great person. She also coaches softball at Parkview, where one of our star recruits for next year played...so he isn't just some random lunatic fan out of nowhere.

He got on my bad side two years ago when he blamed pregnancy hormones as to why he was upset that Beth sent a couple of runners home that were thrown out at the plate. First, it wasn't announced that she was pregnant, second, as a girls softball coach for 25 years, that wasn't an appropriate thing to say. Third, he has a daughter so why would he say something about a woman like that.

so he of all people should know how to behave better. That's sad to hear. As we all know here softball is a niche sport and the followers are hardcore because of family playing and /or people here coaching as i'm sure many of you do just like myself. You just don't run down players and coaches like that in softball. The softball world is a small world and lots of people know each other. I'm still in shock we have a so called supporter who is acting like this TOWARDS SOFTBALL. good grief.
