tards will post the BRPD is at fault which is laughable and sophmorish.
I really want to know where this information is coming from. I hear this conatantly but I don't see any solid evidence that BRPD is at fault, or that Miles isn't acting on the evidence he has presently.

true. He could run on the field with 2 minutes left during a blowout and i guarantee there will be some idiots that boo.

Absolutely irrelevant.
I disagreed with him starting, but I held no ill will towards the kid before the incident. However, I know that he is guilty of a piece of shite move and shouldn't be on the team anymore. I have said this on here before, but I have a mutual/friend acquaintance with Lowery who was with him that night.
BRPD may suck, but it's not because they have screwed over some poor victim. It's because they couldn't gather any concrete evidence to move forward with the charges.

A motion for dismissal of charges? Must be innocent.

Yeah, he says his client is innocent.
So he must be right?

They moved forward. They arrested him!

We're ALL ears...

Say you're accused of something and given a leave of absence from your job...later the charges are dropped or you're found innocent of any wrong doing...would you expect to be allowed back to work? Would you be pissed if your boss said "You know what? I know it was never proven that you did anything wrong but we're going to go ahead and fire you anyway."
You're another one who doesn't seem to understand how "at-will" employment works.
I've known people who were arrested, and not given a "leave-of absence", but out-and-out FIRED. Just for being arrested. The reason being that an arrest looks bad for an employee, and the employer doesn't want that to reflect poorly on THEM.
If the employer fills the arrested employee's job, and the charges against the employee are dropped, that's not the employer's problem. They have to protect their best interests and can hire/fire for any reason they see fit. Life ain't fair.
You seem to be promoting the idea that playing football is JJ's RIGHT. THAT is bullshite. Playing football for LSU is a PRIVILEGE which, like any other can be revoked for any reason.
I've given you my opinion on what should happen, which I actually think is pretty fair. Right now, I'm more concerned w/ what's fair to 83 or so other players who are trying to win a NC THIS year.
If you don't like my opinion, that's your problem. Personally, I'll back whatever decision Coach Miles chooses to make. He's more informed on all of this than any of us are, anyway.

You haven't waivered from that stance, will give you that.

I could agree with Les giving him the option of taking a redshirt and coming back next year with a fair opportunity to win his starting job back in the spring.
But 4 weeks into this season...that ship has sailed. I just have the feeling that mere reinstatement to the team isn't going to be enough for JJ. He'll want his starting position handed back to him. And it could well cause dissension on the team when that doesn't happen, which isn't fair to the other kids.
Totally agree.

While we all wish the best for the JJ's, they put themselves where they are and they are SOLELY responsible. NO ONE ELSE is to blame for their predicament. These guys are told 1,000 times not to put themselves in a bad position - that they should consider themselves targets.
The minute that Unglesby was hired, you could write the timeline on his "playbook". Don't be surprised to see a filing in the future for "lost opportunity".
+1

I ask again, what would an innocent person do and say? Would they not also claim their innocence, or do only guilty people claim they are innocent?

Someone owes JJ a BIG ($$) apology.

Why are you being intentionally obtuse? I told you that's irrelevant. I'm talking about people's reactions on here.

This is my opnion. Whatever Miles decides to do will be based on the information he has at hand and not following internet message board rumor. I would prefer JJ back sooner than later unless other evidence comes public, but Miles knows what happened or most likely happened.

I thought 7b was disproved with multiple accounts of this not happening?
7e So now no LSU players were involved?
11c and 11e Did they proof read this.
Wow, this sounds great. All LSU players are 100% innocent! The only thing that happened was JJ pulled non-involved LSU players away from the fight.

I severely disagree. He is going to be fed the most one-sided viewpoint imaginable.
