Thank you for the comprehensive list.

I have already emailed Alleva and Alexander. I’m afraid I called them cowardly
I’ve received no response, didn’t expect any.

I don’t think you need to email the basketball operations staff, except to say you support them in this horrible time. They are upset, and IMO, all support their coach and Javonte. Tell them fans have their backs.

You have to threaten to stop spending money on LSU. That’s the only way to get their attention

Exactly:

To: (LSU BoS, Admin. Staff, etc.)

I am writing to express my concern regarding the suspension of HBBC Will Wade. As a proud Alumnus and supporter of LSU athletics, I must admit a growing loss of confidence in the leadership of our athletic department over the past few years, stemming not only from choices made by the AD's office, but also the manner in which pertinent issues were handled. This action again underscores the disconnect between what is best for the university and shameless individual self-preservation in its decision-making that has grown to a level no longer possible to overlook.

This suspension, based on what appear to be media reports and "Talking Head" opinions only, is not only offensive to my personal sense of fairness and justice, but betrays a weakness of leadership that is offensive in and of itself. The idea of "guilty until proven innocent" is one I cannot reconcile with any institution I would be proud to be associated with, much less my beloved Alma Mater. I am left feeling embarrassed and insulted; a feeling, as I am sure you are well aware, I am not alone in enduring.

While I am forced to hope that this indefinite suspension was based on actual evidence of recruiting violations by CWW beyond a few phone calls and not simply a case of relenting to obvious pressures, intuitively I know such proof could not exist, as CWW's immediate dismissal should have precluded any action in that instance.

Regardless, the damage is done. I can now only hope that this suspension, as rash a decision as it appears to be, is justified in the end. Given this course of action, all other options leading to a positive outcome for LSU, including CWW's exoneration, stand cancelled. I see no path toward a mutually beneficial result.

This situation, Dear board members, is as unacceptable as the leadership that birthed it...and I have had quite enough of its incompetence.

I plan to express my dissatisfaction via withholding any and all support of LSU athletics, financial or otherwise, until such time as I am satisfied that significant changes in leadership, including but not limited to the Athletic Director and University President, are underway.
I urge my fellow alumni, fans, and all who value the university and the LSU brand to do the same.

I urge you, members of the board, to expedite these changes and restore the integrity and pride the university, alumni, fans and employees deserve.

Sincerely,

19

Class of 1996

I'll be honest, I highly doubt any of those ppl filter through and read all of their own emails, I'd be shocked if they don't have a secretary or someone else to do it for them

I emailed all of them about the farce of a football coaching search last time these were posted. Just keep showing displeasure.

Thanks so much for posting. Will be getting my letter(s) ready after church. Much appreciative of your efforts and making it simple for others to email.

So did you ever call Verge up? Wondering what he told you? As I got basically the same response from him. I was going to give him a call after work today.
