I admire your commitment to the idea that I, a six-time Dale Brown camper and four year front row lunatic who once followed a 2-14 SEC team to all eight of its conference road games and whose groom cake was a red velvet PMAC, had never until today heard of the player whose Nuggets jersey I bought 27 birthdays ago.

We don’t change our names, start worshiping a false prophet and suddenly take a dislike to pig meat.

Him being a good dude was never anything anybody who ever knew him ever doubted. He just did something that was incredibly distasteful to most people and so they used it as an opportunity to bash his character. But he was always, always a quality human being. I think that is why it broke Dale Brown’s heart, because he knew how vulnerable young Chris was and how the cartoonish Angry Mahmoud caricature was inaccurate .

I ate a bunch of pineapple today if you wanna finish the job while you’re down there.
