No lefties is not a good approach but very happy for him. Great rep for LSU.

It was sad to see him go. I really enjoyed his coaching and his overall approach to the game while he was at LSU.

Not sure he could even define his approach. Never seen someone over and under coach at the same time till I watched him. Also never seen a head coach feel the need to ask his players what they did in high school because of his lack of awareness for what was on his own team. Todd Peterson/Helmers stories are a complete and utter embarrassment, yet he wore them like a badge of honor.

Congrats to CPM. He is a hall of fame college baseball coach and gave us some great teams, players, championships, and a big one on the intimidator. A lot of our fanbase are just plain miserable bastards and can’t just be decent.

Pulling Kurt McCune while he had a shutout going

It was Kyle Bouman.

Mainieri pulled him after 6 shutout innings and 70 pitches. He put in McCune who blew the 4-0 lead.

CJJ had to go get Skenes, Tanks, and Hurd to get us the top level talent to make the run we did.

Riley Cooper was an inning eater and MVP. LSU had ZERO lefty’s when Jay arrived. He brought Cooper and a very good hitting Jacob Berry who was the best hitter on that first team and it wasn’t close.
He made Floyd a pitcher and Alex Milazzo a serviceable hitter.
