perhaps it's time for us to really consider a move. I know the knee jerk reaction is to throw up on this idea, but stop and think about this idea for a minute before you cuss me out.
The big 12 just were told their lack of a championship game might have cost them millions of dollars by being left out of the party, though it is clearly a much tougher league than the big 10. if LSU were to leave for the big 12 and be joined by another team, say BYU or Cincinatti, though it could be anyone then the big 12 could divide back into two 6 team divisions. Since ou and texas will always play themselves, that would by default put us in the other division. we would go from getting screwed every year to being the dominant team in our division.
In addition to suddenly being placed in a much better competitive environment in terms of making it to the play off, we would also have the doors to Texas recruiting suddenly open even wider than they currently are. we would be arguably a better program, and a favorite to make a championship game every year. Count to 10 at least before you flame me.
