Those 2 losses you speak of were in 06 and 08 where they won the Championship. You're basically looking at the two best Florida teams of that decade(offense and defense I believe top ten in 08) you have a fairly green QB like Mett and team weak against the run. We shut down Price and he threw like 4 TDs the next game. We will own that QB and run all over them. 43-17.

Very true 312; good points. But, I think our ability to throw better than last year will help keep them honest. Although we've had a coupla injuries and our OL has had a coupla spotty plays, I have more confidence in Mett's ability to step up in the pocket and make better decisions than what we've seen the last 4 years. At least that's what I'm tellin' myself!!!

2007lusno1: So you post your little laughing icon but yet you make no effort to refute what I've said. Why don't you respond to the facts I presented and tell me where I'm wrong. Here is what I said by the way:

Our team has been decimated with academic issues, discipline issues, and injuries. We are not the same team we were a month ago. We're still very good but you don't lose eleven to fifteen players (depending on the injury status as of this writing) and not feel some effect.

This is a very legit concern. I can't recall when we've had this many players injured this early in a season, not to mention the guys we lost due to suspensions.

It doesn't look good for Blue, Ware is still suffering from a nagging injury; Hurst, Dworaczyk, Mingo, and Loston are all injured as well.

Eventually of these little nicks will start to take a toll on us. After Towson, we won't have a break until the bye week. We need to get our guys healthy ASAP.
