Clown, who evaluates a coach? You?

No, it's a AD who is a past player or coach.

Who searches for a new coach? You?

No, it's a AD who consults with who? You?

No, its coaches and players.

And why are fans NEVER in the evaluating process? Because like u and rog, they don't know shite about coaching.

Being an arrogant, loud mouth on a board doesn't mean you know anything about coaching, playing the game, or evaluating either one of those two.

Get over youeself.

The fact that Saban coaches circles around Miles in his sleep has nothing to do with it?

Good Gawd. Bammer is a punch you in the face and make you quit team, which is what we were a few years ago. Now we are Miles incarnate on the field. Clock it anyone?

Les is not a drama queen like Urban Meyer, doesn't tell bold face lies like Saban, doesn't cry to the media b/c his team isn't properly ranked like Bob Stoops, and he can win the BIG games unlike Jim Tressel.

Is that supposed to be a joke?
If so you should indicate that you are jesting with a " :) "

Well, I saw where Michigan self-imposed sanctions of which mandatory reduced practice time is part of it.

Boy, if we can combine that with some of the comments in this thread, and personal letters of recommendation from Sammich, Choctaw, Dandy, and a few others, UM has GOT to hire ol' Lezzter. Afterall, according to them, he's a better coach than Saban based upon his 5 year record at LSU....which means he's the best coach in the country.

He can turn that thing around quick; we all know that there's no way UM will be accused of doing too much work ever again, and they can be happy going 10-2 every year.

Think about it; he IS a very good recruiter. UM recruits itself like LSU recruits itself. Les can go out there with superior talent and only have 2 tough games a year in OSU, PSU, or ND. He can go 10-2 there easy. They may never win the Big 10, but he can go to a New Years day bowl or better every year and they should be ecstatic with that.........just as many on this board would be.

like Bertman?
Actually Mark Emmert was most responsible for Saban's hire (& we all know how great a FB player & coach he was). Joe Alleva, who hired Miles, was a legendary player & coach also, apparently.

If you think rich boosters don't have input in who is hired, you're an idiot.

Judging by your statements, you are an idiot.
And frankly, you're a douchebag also.
I'll no longer respond to your stupid posts.

I didn't ask you to post to be, clueless. You did it on your own. If you can't handle the response, girlyman, sit in the corner and keep your trap shut.

You know nothing about evalating programs or coaches. You as much admitted that and thats all I wanted to hear you say.

Don't bother me again, retard.

Sammich, your hate for the midget in Tuscaloosa has blinded you to the reality that losing 4 games, with 4 non conference gimmes on the schedule is not mediocre.

Sad.

It's true I do not like the midget, that's no secret. However, my dislike of him has not blinded me towards anything involving current LSU Football. The midget is NOT a part LSU & hasn't been since January 2005. History will show the midget, once coached at LSU. 48 wins & 16 losses at LSU.

One of the big differencces beteen Miles & the midget beside one being of relatively normal height, is the OOC schedule. If given a choice, I'd much rather lose to an SEC team, than lose to an OOC UAB cupcake, fielding it's 9 or 10 season ever in the sport of Football.

There was no Division IIA UAB Football or any variation of that.

UAB had no frickin' Football team at all, before 1991.

The midget lost 4 OOC games in 5 seasons, Miles has lost 1 OOC game in 5 seasons. That is fact.

You are hopeless Sammich. Consistent, but hopeless....Maybe this will be the year that Miles will give you the vindication you are looking for...

Less is middle of the pack SEC Coach . He will need to step it up to last more than 1 more year. Saben Meyer and even Nutt are ahead of him at this time. He needs to get off his rear and coach these kids up and hold their feet to the fire. I for one don't and will not go back to accepting second and third to Bama and others. That shite is over and done. I hope Miles wins and he stays but if not it time to Move ON and put a fork in him.

I graduated from LSU, and suppert LSU Team & LSU Coaches. Why does this make me "Hopeless"?

Should LSU Alumnus be pulling for Bama Football? If so, please tell me why or how this will benefit an LSU Fan. Is there a foreign exchange type thing going on? Operation "Help a Gump"?

What vindication am I looking for? LSU's Coach won 51 games in 5 seasons, and brought LSU our first undisputed National Champiionship since 1958. He's won 4 of 5 Bowl games. No other LSU Football coach has accomplished this in 5 seasons. 4 of his 5 teams have garnered a Top 20 finish & 3 in the Top 10.

Based off your opinion perhaps, but no objective measuring approach supports such a conclusion.

LSU has played in the SEC CG 4 times since the games started in 92. No LSU coach has had his team play in more of these games than Miles. You act like we have some kinda claim on this game, but we don't. You act like some other LSU coach put us into this game more than Miles, but none has.

Memo to Sammich, Choctaw and all other defenders of the current mediocrity who purport to be LSU fans: Please read (with comprehension) the above quote. It is the definition of reality in the SEC West, most plainly exposed in the last two years!!!

I think you need to keep in mind the state of the programs when comparing records. It really isn't a fair comparison when one took over a struggling program and had to rebuild and one took over a program in great shape.

Mediocrity doesn't come in the form of 9-3 regular seasons or 3rd place finishes in the best college football conference there is or in Top 20 national rankings. If 9 wins when you play in the SEC is mediocre, then LSU has been mediocre 33 times in the last 40 years and twice with Nick.

You can lump 08 and 09 together to your hearts content, but objective inspection of those two years separately reveals 08 to be less than mediocre and 09 to be good. imo

It does when you have the talent to win 10 or more. You results only guys refuse to comprehend the concept that Les' record, while impressive in and of itself, is really not all that impressive when placed in the proper context. Considering the overwhelming edge in talent his teams have had in almost all of his 66 games, I would expect that we would have won at least 51 of them.

You guys see 51-15 and say, "thank God for Les Miles." I see the disorganized mess we are on the field and wonder how much better we could have been had we not settled for Les Miles as Nick Saban's replacement.

I know Alleva wasn't hired until '08. I was running out the door of my office when typed that mistake.
Point still remains.
