I think Joe Chango is the OC/QB coach at Rummel. He’s a good coach nussmeier should do well under his play calling.

I don't like Rummel's coach.
I know someone who transferred there from another school on the promise of a lot of playing time and the kid didn't get it.
How can he develop players if he doesn't let them play?
Is he going to bump the current QB for Nuss2?
Kid across the street from me plays for Rummel. I may ask him what he thinks.

You don’t know what the frick you’re talking about. Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard for someone that supposedly loves LSU. Show us you know absolutely nothing about football without saying you know absolutely nothing about football. What a dumb-arse.

Don’t confuse me with an LSU homer who thinks if it’s LSU it can’t stink because we disagree on the Nussmeier issue.
I’m sure there’s more than the injury that dropped him to a 7th round pick. But injuries play a part in ranking players stock, especially one like a core injury. Happens every year.
I’m also not arguing that he was a great player. But to say “he was never that good”, how good are you talking about? A 1st round draft pick? Sure. But he WAS a good college QB in ‘24, and ‘25 was not a true picture due to multiple factors, not the least being said core injury.
It was obvious very early on that GN’s mechanics were off and there was zip lacking on his passes vs what we’d seen before. In hindsight he shouldn’t have been out there. But he tried to gut it out. I don’t dock him for ‘25 from a physical standpoint.
