hopefully trying to fill a position(courtney) over just adding talent(galloway) pays off in the long run.

One big assumption you are making is that LSU could have had Galloway, had coach so desired. That may be true, but I dont know that to be fact.

It comes across that way more often than not because I find myself being forced to combat the same nonsensical posting from the same couple of posters.

I certainly think that Courtney could end up being a huge miss. At this point, that's the only way to see it. Maybe he'll provide what we need at 3 and he's simply not capable of doing it right now. Or he was just a miss.

You're right. He should have signed 6 shooting guards.

The reality is that he's made plenty of mistakes. However, I don't think any of them involve his choice of shooting guards. His biggest mistake, which I have pointed out on several occasions, is not recruiting JUCO heavy in 2009. That would have allowed the current freshman class, which I think will prove to be strong in the long run, time to mature.
