Yet, we typically beat the hell out of them. I don't get it?

Miss. State went 4-4 in conference last year. LSU and Bama beat them pretty handily, but they took BCS team Arkansas to overtime, and they took eventual champion Auburn to the wire. On top of that, the game is in StarkVegas, where LSU needed a miracle to win last time. Also working in their favor, I think Relf is probably the most underrated QB in the league, and if he improves his passing game just a bit he could be in for an All-SEC type year.

So. I'm not saying they'll definitely beat LSU. But I think you have to be crazy to not consider it possible.

And for all the people who are writing off Bama because their QB situation isn't so hot: if there's one team that could win the national title with an unproven QB, it's Bama, as McElroy proved.

The Miss St, Tenn & Alabama games are all dangerous teams, bama of course the strongest. The Tenn game is the one to watch out for because if LSU does beat Fla the week before they may not take Tenn seriously & we all know how pissed Dooley was last yr.On paper LSU should win by 7 to 10 points but the best team doesn't allways win. Just ask the 18 & 0 New England Patriots.

All credibility is lost right there.....are you fricking kidding? No hate for La'el and I expect big things from him in years to come, but to rank him above Freak, Loston, and Taylor. Straight up ignorant.

I would think ranking him above any of last years retruring olinemen is even more stupid, espec in the case of blackwell, hurst and JoshDY

There is so much bias in this bs rating by cfn. What the hell do we have to prove. Oh btw we have 2 senior qbs and won 11 games. We are not the ones with S@!! to prove!

So are we regressing in wins because of the schedule or because we lost PP, Nevis, Sheppard combo?

I'm just wondering everyone's thoughts?

I'm at 11-1 with the loss to Bama because everyone else said so.

Could I see 9-3? Sure, but would I predict it and bet it? NO.

I've been saying 9-3 is our ceiling. We won a lot of games last year by the skin of our teeth.

You don't think we can go 11-1 or 12-0? just plain lol.

no shot IMO. They have to prove to me that they can win more than 10 regular season games to me before I'd say we'd do that. We've had more talented teams against easier schedules and we've lost focus under Miles. I highly doubt we all of a sudden drop 1 or less games with an unstable QB situation with this schedule.

Well, they have given every SEC at least two losses. 3 losses could definitely happen. Hell, we could have easily lost 5 last yea

We could have won 14, whats ur point?

Seriously man. Bama is starting a QB with NO EXPERIENCE and they are ranked #2 in the country. That is just laughable to me.

I agree. I think the issue is all the bama knob slob. They have lsu at 9-3 but bama can't lose. Give me a break. They will struggle on offense this year and lose 2-3. Realistically, both could and are likely to end up with a few losses due to QB play. Unless the light comes on for JJ.

This is retarded. So you gonna wait for them to go 11-1 before you jump on the bandwagon.

Oh and in case you just started watching lsu, we went 11-1 in 2005. People are stupid.

Have you seen AJ McCarron play? Hes a soph, not a junior. He's not McElroy and lacks his natural leadership and decision making ability. In fact he struggling so much since Spring, bama insiders predict Sims to start within 4 games.. Ftr, sims is a freshman and even with AJ McCarron, no team in bcs era has had a starting qb less than a jr win a title. Do some research before you post and get sabans nuts out of your mouth.
