Michigan St. has a great view of multi-colored foilage in Oct. along north side of stadium. Other than that, nothing special.
Nothing special? Nick Saban is on record as stating it's one of the best places for college football with a great atmosphere.

AW Mumford Stadium.
Oh, my bad, I thought the category was "college stadiums you must attend where you have a chance to die"
Anyways, I have been to all the SEC venues. The best are Florida and Auburn (besides LSU), and it isn't even close. Virginia Tech was a good atmosphere, but every time there was a big play they played a damned "gobble gobble gobble" noise...kinda annoying. S. Carolina is cool, I guess, but nothing special. I do give their fans credit...they have shown up for years to see what is usually average/below average football.

quote:You know, I went to the game in 2001, the first weekend of games after September 11. I sat in the lower level and had some great seats. I don't think the stadium is pretty, but it's pretty big. The bowl shape and sheer size impressed me most. Parking wasn't a problem because I had a hotel room on campus. I've been to few places, and I'd say Neyland is one that should be on the list.
Neyland - amazing -
You people who went to that game in '06 didn't sit in the upper LSU visitors section. GARBAGE. Worst overall experience on a roadie i've ever had.
