I have to see how our starting pitching will fare against SEC level competition. We have looked great against mediocre teams (except Glenn) will they continue pitching well against SEC teams.

I know he is just a sophomore but do you think he could ask for an extra year of eligibility because he didn't get an appearance I don't think this season

I wouldn't say way worse. We got some ballers in the pen. We will be fine.

Our pen will be fine. What you have seen thus far is Mainieri trying out guys. Come SEC play, we'll see the best guys.

You can't say Domangue yet. He's showed us nothing so far but a few walks.

I don't follow the Baseball recruiting like some of the other boxtards on here, so it is difficult for me to pick up on who will be very good just a few games into the season.

All you gotta do is watch all the games.

Well domangue is my own personal prediction. Most would disagree with me due to a couple rough outings. But I have seen Cartwright and feacheax (?) pitch and they both look solid early on so I think the pen a whole will be solid.

Based on Stats so far here are our best guys for the Pen (this is no more than 5 appears so its way to early to tell.

Parker Bugg has been the most impressive so far, leads in Ks out of Non Starters, only 2 hits in 5 2/3 innings.
Broussard could be argued our second best
Then it is really all of these guys in no particular order
Fury
Cartwright
Faucheaux
McCune

So if the success continues based on how things have gone this season we will probably see something like this

McCune Faucheux and Fury will be middle inning relief/ spot start / long relief
Bugg will set up
Broussard will Close

everyone else will be mop up mid week games.

Now I think Bugg should be our closer

Just to show Bugg's dominace so far

He leads the team in WHIP and BAA

WHIP is .353 and BAA is .118. He is also third for Ks (keeping in mind that the top 2 are both starters and have 10+ innings more than him) If I'm reading this stat correct (K/Game innings) he would have 14.29 ks per 9 innings.

Note: all of the above is based on my own personal scoring of the game it could be slightly off from the LSU kept stats.

I take it you're not on the Brady domangue pain train.

based it on stats to date only, but Brady has had 3 appearances so far if he continues to improve as the season goes on I will be on it.
