Come on Chicken! You know after weekend it's gonna start happening. We might as well start speculating.

We are going to have some really disappointed LSU fans when Ensmiger is retained as OC.

I know it’s likpey E stays unless he steps down from the position, but we need a change. I have honestly seen him call 2 good games the entire year. Not nearly good enough. My opinion on him was bad before the Alabama game, but after that wow. I mean even if you take away the Alabama game, we have honestly still been dog shite on offense for most of the year.

My preference would be for him to stay and be a productive OC.

Hey J. So O's story will change from begging Ensminger to take the job, to begging him to resign

If I was the head coach, I would not want to fire any of my staff that had only been in his position for 1 season. But I would certainly want to revisit film of what the best offensive coordinators are doing and ensure we start doing it.

That said, though, in this particular case, it just seems to me like O and E are 2 peas in a pod with regards to this simpleton scheme, and O seems to think E is a great play caller "calls plays with ice water in his veins." I'm not feeling too good about this potential train wreck.

HeHeHeHe - not exactly what I had in mind, Jack. E strikes me as a sensitive guy that absolutely despises criticism. I think he's going to become infuriated and just relinquish the OC job.

More like "calls plays with embalming fluid in his veins."

And we really gotta see what happens at agricultural & mechanical first. We win these last 3 I doubt the heat will really get turned up. Granted, we pussy around and lose the bowl game due to this sorry offense, January could get rough. But at 11 & 2 I suspect nothing will happen.

Ensminger is a true Tiger that bleeds purple and gold. It's sad that he was pressured into this job in the first place.

That's absolutely right. It sucks that we have to talk about how horrible this offense is knowing a beloved Tiger is the guy running it.

It could just be as simple as E forgot to sleep in his office before the bama game.

Simple Truth

I'm aggravated that he and O and all those damn analysts haven't developed THE system to at least half way compete with Sabamm. The benchmarks are out there. They simple aren't utilizing them. They set up our o-line to get its arse dominated. They have no clue whatsoever how to develop the screen game. I could go on and on.

Sure. That would be awesome. But you will never convince me he would be as productive as Kendall Briles. Therefore, we need to get Kendall Briles. If we don't, Bama probably will. They'll be in the market for an OC after this year.

I agree.

Some times an old dog just can't learn new.

Saban hiring him would not surprise me in the least.
