They’ve been automatically running the hurry up on short yardage situations. Has worked well, but there does need to be a spotter to stop things when a challenge is warranted.

I agree that the hurry up has been effective for the most part in short yardage, with the exception of the false start penalties that occur occasionally. But I think an exception to that should automatically be in effect when there is a possible TD subject to review at stake. I think extra time to allow for a review to see whether or not a review is warranted is justified, especially since we are talking about the ball being a yard or less from the goal line.

Being as how this happened twice this year suggests we need to change how we approach this situations

I find that if they are adamant about a catch or a score and are asking for a challenge then they are usually correct.
