I don't hate Miles at all. What he did at LSU was great. I just hate the Miles lovers that still hang on and try to keep him relevant while STIL Lol not giving O the proper credit he deserves.

If you need that explained to you, you weren’t paying attention at the time. Okie State got shafted just a much, even though they wouldn’t have enjoyed the end result.
I think of 2011 as 14-0 though because we won the Cotton Bowl in January against... our favorite 50-7 aggies.

We didn't get shafted at all. If you're the best team then you win. We weren't the best team and didn't deserve the national championship. It's really that simple.

Well I was paying attention but OSU lost and they put the next best team in there. We already beat them once. Why not best them twice????? That's not getting shafted.

Sounds good. Both coaches got off to amazing starts. Looks like Coach O has set himself up to have an even better run than Miles did. What a time to be an LSU fan.

Yup. I was one of them and I’ve gladly been eating crow and posting about it all year.
And to your point, I’m gonna say this. There is a lot of revisionist history going on with some posters on this board who want to pretend they were all on the Coach O bus from day one. After the Troy loss, that bus was pretty empty outside of Ree, PJ and a couple others.
