If cam can explain the basic concept of les miles offense so well, our players will understand that much better. I think this guy is going to give mett some freedom at the LOS

What's exciting to me is that we didn't have to be that much better on offense to have been playing for all the marbles last year. This guy is a Pro. Offense is what he does! The schemes will be there. If the players execute we can be scary good. Lord I hope so or this board will be on major meltdown.

Cool your jets guys. He was 18–37 as a college head coach and 1-15 as a pro head coach, and the Ravens won the Super Bowl AFTER they canned him. He was fired DURING THE SEASON.

To me, he's got a lot to prove before he's anointed the "offensive Saban".

you failed to mention his offense was great as a HC college and pro, and also that superbowl the ravens won with his playbook. caldwell should be kissing Cam's testikles for the ring he got with Cam's playbook..

bottomline Cam's offense works.. thats all the tigers need..

a bad head coach at college or the NFL does not mean he is a bad coordinator. pretty sure this cat helped brees, rivers and flacco. that speaks volumes. However, SHOW ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not saying he'll be a failure, but I'm skeptical of anyone who was replaced by Jim freakin' Caldwell.

My point is, don't compare him to proven quantities like Saban until he proves himself.

We're not talking head coaching here are we? There is hell of alot more that goes into that than calling plays.

What were the Ravens on offense before he got there? Could you name anybody on that Ravens O pre-Cam?

Philip Rivers
Drew Brees
Joe Flacco

He molded them.

Ladainian Tomlinson
Ray Rice
Antonio Gates

He maximized their potential.

To me, he's got a lot to prove before he's anointed the "offensive Saban".

The man has nothing to prove because he's already done it as a coordinator at all levels. We don't need an "offensive Saban", We need a coach who can maximize what we like to do on offense by molding his scheme to fit our needs.

This!!!

The thing that I love is the same people who say shite like "Cool your jets guys. He was 18–37 as a college head coach and 1-15 as a pro head coach" never give Les any credit for his phenomenal record as HC at LSU. And many seem to forget about Lord Satan's record in the pros also.
