. The injury isn’t good. I don’t need to hope for anything & wouldn’t ever hope he wouldn’t play. Not sure what else to say. Just passing info along, you can take it or leave it

I have no freaking idea if he is fully ready or not.

From comments I've seen in the past, I'm not so sure a majority of commenters have ever worn a jock outside of PE class

So, on record, you are still saying Clyde has a torn hamstring?

That’s what I’m being told by someone I trust so yes I believe it. Judging by the severe swelling they think there is a tear there.

Your original statement:

quote:

Source actually told me the next day they think it’s torn because swelling still hasn’t gone down enough for them to mri

I have no problem with them waiting. I have a problem with you or your source saying they think it’s torn because there is swelling ONE FRICKING DAY LATER.

And let’s be clear what we are talking about here. What is torn? You think there was an avulsion of the hamstring tendon? Or do you think he “tore” the muscle belly aka a pulled hamstring or muscle strain. These are two completely different things.

Avulsion needs to be evaluated with MRI because it’s surgical. A muscle “tear” doesn’t need a MRI although it can help determine the severity of the muscle strain. Be more specific.

I don’t know any details about clydes injury. I’m just here to say you don’t know jack shite about hamstrings, MRIs, or the status of Clyde Edwards Helaire.

Dude the injury happened on what, Tuesday or Wednesday?

It wasn’t just one day.

I took down my screen shot from this thread but it’s time stamped Friday, which is when I was told they fear it’s torn. Saturday clarified that they hadn’t done the mri yet cause the swelling hadnt went down. Was told grade 2 or 3.

I’m not getting info from some random TD poster. I’m not a doctor this is just what I’m told. You don’t believe it. That’s fine.

That’s all I know. I didn’t ask about avulsions you dope.

You know what’s even better. The example you used of Roenis Elias having to wait to get an MRI because of swelling doesn’t mean a damn thing because he was diagnosed with a Grade 1 hamstring strain. AKA a mild pulled hamstring.

quote:

Roenis Elias was diagnosed with a Grade 1 hamstring strain after undergoing an MRI exam on Saturday morning. The right-hander is headed to Washington D.C. to be evaluated by team doctors, but the last time that he dealt with the injury he was sidelined for three weeks. Nationals' manager Dave Martinez indicated that he's less sore this time around, so perhaps he'll be able to beat that timeframe. SOURCE: Bryon Kerr on Twitter Sep 7, 2019, 5:23 PM ET MORE

Again, you and your source don’t know anything about hamstrings, MRIs, or the status of Clyde Edwards Helaire.

I know you didn’t because you don’t know what you are talking about. The fact that they waited for an MRI or that there was swelling says very little about the severity of his injury.

quote:

Was told grade 2 or 3.

So he got the MRI? How did they grade it already?

Wait, you tell me they don’t wait for swelling to go down to perform mri, then you are going to use my example when I prove you wrong to try and Pretend like you actually know what you’re talking about?

Bwhahahaha

No dumbass YOU SAID... it’s “torn because the swelling hasn’t gone down enough one day later to get a MRI”

It’s impossible to even know what you are talking about because you haven’t specified what is torn. If by torn you mean he “pulled his hamstring” aka a muscle strain well then no fricking shite Sherlock. Everyone knew that

If by torn you mean he tore the hamstring tendon (which is what it seems like you implied) requiring surgery... nothing you said supports that. Certainly not the fact that there was swelling or they waited to get a MRI.

You better hope your buddy isn't on the medical staff because if anyone finds out him leaking info his career is fricked.

My dude, take a breath.

I’m sorry you joined the conversation late but that is not what I said in the context you think it was said in.

None of you arse clowns know anything. If you heard anything at all (which I highly doubt) it’s the same regurgitated hearsay that every other schmuck has posted on this board.

Not even Clyde himself knows if he can play... RIGHt NOW.
