All I know is that the poor fricking QB was probably seeing his life flash before him everytime the damned ball was snapped.

I am not sure I could totally blame Chris Garrett for not wanting to go out there, not with that fricking line. The kid has more on the ball than some may give him credit for.

You kidding me with this? It was the most simple minded play calling I've ever seen. Limited formations and uncreative plays.

you're a fricking retard.

Great.

So Jefferson is shell shocked

Lee can't throw across the middle

And Garrett is afraid.

BTW, I'm a borderline PosiTiger

The #1 high school QB is a fool if he doesn't look at LSU.

The state of LSU football... Someone, somewhere will have to stand up and take the reigns. I would be skeptical of all Qb's on this roster for that very reason. None seem willing to lead, to push and to stake their claim

The LESLIE MILES FAREWELL TOUR is in full effect. Same ole' b.s. Every team is undefeated right now. Miles has a want to stay that way. Win the West Leslie..... win the West. If not, see ya!

And Zach Lee is headed for the Dodgers farm system, check in hand.

We are so screwed.

I absolutely don't have any, just continuing the QB string. His being here already and the national pundits saying he was a throw-away pick for the Dodgers is the lifeline I am grasping for our future. I know that he won't help this year's football team, but if he comes, he might be the talented leader we are lacking at our most critical position. And I look forward to seeing him pitch weekends against the SEC. Cross your fingers.

You fail at failing. He doesn't have to win the West to stay.

Bottom line is that Les obviously sees what we see, and recognizes the problems. I take a little comfort in that.

Wondering if the addition of Wilkerson and Gonzo to the coaching staff were mentioned last night.

He also says play calling will be more scrutinized. Gary was trying to do too much and the plan is going to be much more simplified going forward.

You may want to rewatch some of the games. Just because the play calling sucked doesn't mean the playbook was simple.

I just think Crowton has no idea what he wants in a QB honestly.

Crowton knows exactly what he wants in a QB, he just doesn't know what to do if that QB isn't on the team at a given point in time.

I suppose running options to the short side of the field is more complicated than I imagined.

When you say "in general, all the same plays"' do you mean just whether it was a run or a pass?

I'm saying, if you run the weak side option from I formation or pistol shotgun its still weak side option..

I told him I understood the need to play seniors if they had worked hard and deserved the time on the field, but with such great recruiting classed would any young kids see the field as well.

I just don't understand why people ask this question - it makes absolutely no sense at a school like LSU.

Did it ever occur to you that the seniors Les plays are the same kids that came in as a top 5 recruiting class?

It's not just the freshmen that are highly touted, but ALL of LSU's classes have been great the last few years.

Why is it that so many LSU fans seem to think this years freshmen are always better than last year's freshmen - who just so happened to have been better than the previous year's freshmen?

I guess rantards are going to be bitching next year about Les wanting to play these great players everyone wants to see this year - because they'll be clamoring for the next class to get PT.

It's ridiculous.

Too bad Les can't just sign 85 players every year and dismiss them at the end of the season - then he could play ALL the freshmen every year!

I think that Miles wanted his #1 and #2 QB to get almost all of the snaps in the Spring game tells you everything you need to know about the QB situation.

If we had an entrenched starter, I'm sure Garrett would have been given more time.
