Lsu has been a damn strong first half team this season. That is likely the best bet on this game.

Which team has a better defense Clemson or Alabama? LSU scored 46 on Alabama, and we are a more improved team from 2 months ago.

If LSU gets up by two tds, what happens to the ball control/shorten the game approach?

This is what I think happens. LSU has jumped all over teams early this season and they are picking up steam every game. They absolutely shell-shock opponents. I think Clemson will fall prey to it as well, but they’ll adjust and are explosive enough to hang around and force LSU to keep their foot on the gas. If I were a betting man, I’d take the over and bet LSU on the money line.

Not what Vegas Insiders says... they have the Spread money on LSU - 79% to 21%

BUT

The Money line cash is on Clemson - 59% to 41%

LINK

At these odds, if LSU wins by 1, 2, 3. 4, or 5 points then Vegas wins both ways.

I actually may LIKE that LSU 1st half bet. Im really concerned about the Clemson scoring late to get inside the number.

IF I LOSE my 1st half UNDER, its probably because LSU has drilled Clemson into oblivion.

LSU 1st half with my 1st half UNDER and GAME UNDER

Kinda liking this play!

Also, I have never understood how people like OVERS and tell me the score is going to be 42-28 which is 70 and the total is 69.5

Why would you bet an OVER when you think the game is going to be maxed out at 70 I mean that is NO room for error!

It is easy to say I like so-and-so but when you try and put a score to the game, it then becomes much harder to see this game OVER the total.

Does anyone think the score is going to be 52-31 type? Thats 83 which is 2 touchdowns OVER the total.

Also I dont see any defensive touchdowns as neither team turns the ball over and both kickers kick the ball out of the end zone and the only special teams scores i see may be a punt return But even Stingley calls for a fair catch every time with Burrow just waiting to come in and sling it

I agree, but the same could be said for LSU. For LSU to win Clyde/Rb's have to play a key roll in both rushing and passing. If Clemson plays coverage, 3-4 man rush, Clyde will feast.

Look Given enough plays and possessions, LSU is gonna move the ball Dabo knows this!!! Venables knows this! I think they get yardage. My only criticism of LSU has been RED ZONE offense and Clemson has a very good red zone D

Maybe a couple missed FGs with 2 shaky kickers

Im still on UNDER so far Adding LSU 1st half

Maybe Burrow UNDER 393 yards My God, can hte dude throw for 400 vs Clemson? Thats a frick ton!!

I would be surprised if it wasn't at least 21-17 at half.

The under would mean you don't see an outcome of 42-28 I'd say absolutely over. Can't see less than 40 by one of the teams and that would mean one of the defenses holding the other to less than 28/30....but I don't gamble

We’ve crushed the spread in almost ever game this season and that won’t change with Clemson. We may not win by 20 but we cover.

I loaded up on LSU -5.5

I won big on Clemson last year and predicted they would win by 14 plus.

This game can go one of two ways, a back n forth game where one team beats the other 37-34 or higher, and the Tigers will win. Which ones who knows but take the points. In this scenario you can expect at least 3 to 4 or more turnovers, and at least 4 or more defensive stops.

Or They don’t get to Joe enough, he makes them pay, forcing pressure on Clemson to keep up and they make mistakes (like Bama did) and LSU pulls away.

I don’t see it any other way. Look at LSU defense last 3 games and ask yourself who is really being disrespected, Clemson or Aranda and LSUs Defense. (Who is playing at full strength for first time this year.(

Which is why I am asking for opinions here. I just think the Clemson weakness is their OLINE Ohio State was wrecking that OL

Burrow is far too accurate in both his reads and his ball placement; that's been the 'Shock and Awe' of this team. Being in good position defensively doesn't mean shite to this team... if it's single coverage, then Burrow considers someone open.
