through LSU. Clem's son put all of us in the upperdeck.

I hope we return the favor next year. Put them all east upper deck facing the sun and spread em out the through the top 2 rows. $300/ea. (inflation)

FSU @ Clemson tickets are going for ~$100/ea. for comparison. No telling what Clemson charged FSU but for re sale on ticketmaster they are ~100-$115/ea

Glad I have a free place to stay. I'll see all you baws as Esso Club

knowing LSU, they will give their fans sub-face value price in that section in the South Endzone. I don't think I recall ever seeing non-conference teams sit anywhere but there, even though that's the designated seating for conference visitors

The cost and location of the tickets they gave us

Hell I sat in the club at the opener vs FSU in Orlando for $250 (shout out to Mariner!)

I don’t have a big problem with the location, as I would hope LSU would give away prime seats if they didn’t have to. But how do we know what the face value of those tickets are? And how does it compare the the section next to it that’s isn’t reserved for LSU? Genuinely curious

Same. Like.i said hopefully we return the favor to their fans next year. No south EZ seats including their band. Put their arse way up there

Multiple friends and family members have confirmed.. thats the cost per ticket through LSU

Not sure but only a few tickets on ticketmaster are under 250/ea. Clemson also didn't sell single game tickets for LSU.. had to buy through season tickets which im sure is inflating the secondary market asking price

is that what Clemson is charging LSU or what LSU is charging its fans?

The home team sets the face value. Why are you simping so hard for Clemson

I’m not simping for Clemson. I’m genuinely curious. I know the home team sets the face value of the ticket. I’m not sure that it means the away team has to sell it for that. Or maybe it does, that’s why I’m asking. Why are you so upset by simple questions?

ok it sure reads that way. guess you're just very ill-informed.

this is easily 2x the price I've seen for face value road tickets. even Texas was ~$100 for uppers IIRC.

another reason to stick to neutral site openers. not subjecting your fans to price gouging for mediocre at best tickets.

We expect ticket prices to drop in August?

I guess so. I just went back and looked at the agreements for both the Texas game, as well as the Clemson game. In the Texas agreement it specifically says “All tickets sold by the Visiting Institution shall be sold at the price established
by the Host Institution” but it doesn’t say anything like that in the Clemson agreement. I’ll assume it’s the same though, but it doesn’t look like it’s a requirement like it has been in the past.

Yes once tickets start hitting folks accounts I'd expect to find some folks dumping at less than face

There's always deals to be had on gameday if you're willing to wait.

I might hold out and try to find better seats on gameday around the 250 price point

Good find. Nothing would surprise me these days, but if it came out LSU was pocketing some profit off the tickets there would be some pissed off tiger fans.

I’m not claiming this is what’s happening either. Maybe it was just an oversight. But would it surprise me if LSU, or any other school, would try to make a few more dollars at the expense of the fans? Not at all.

Just buy in the Clemson section. I sat right in the middle of them at the Natty. They were really quiet second half

Yeah usually it is the case and that is how we usually get ours play the wait game. But things been different the last several years so good luck with that. I been to some big openers the last few years( Some not LSU) and usually they do drop but the last few years we have been stuck having to bite the bullet day of the game for some pricey tickets when I could have bought them early for same price for a better seat. We went ahead and pulled the trigger this year on some that we liked. We snatched up some on the Clemson side on the 45 yard line in section "E". Little pricey but I will never be back to see LSU @ Clemson in my life time prolly. Good luck either way hope it works out for you and Geaux Tigers

I would imagine LSU is going to charge similar next year. Its been a pretty long time since we’ve had a premier OOC opponent on campus….Virginia Tech in 2007 is the last one I can think of. Every big OOC game since then has been neutral site games. Should be some major demand
