Here is a posting on a board that said they saw the purple and yellow cans at East Carolina University.

And here is a University of Northern Iowa message board talking about a store that has the purple and yellow cans (after lots of people saying they had to go to Louisiana to get purple and yellow).

Haven't found anything about the cans in Seattle, but obviously the purple and yellow cans are not unique to Baton Rouge.

Yea well I dont know about anyone else on here but if I would have walked by and saw that shite the one on the left would have gotten the broke jaw and the one on the right gets the busted eye socket. Who knows after they hit the ground. Maybe a good kick. Chicken ban me if you want! frick it that shite is un called for!!!!!!!!!!!

And that would have been an awesome stint you did in prison for your violent actions. Could have possibly ruined your life.

Jersey, you are trying real damn hard to make this into a hoax of some sort. What is more likely? There just happened to be a couple of dumb UW fans that thought the sign would be funny and decided to make it. Or 2 LSU fans made the sign and posed as UW fans to make the entire UW fan base look bad even though LSU won't play UW again until 2012.

That's pretty ridiculous. Why would an LSU fan care how the Washington fan base looks? I could see trying to make Bama, Ole Miss, or Auburn look bad by dressing up as their fans and making asses out of themselve, but there is no point in making UW look bad.

Maybe. The whole thing just strikes me as fishy and I think we should be very careful about forming strong negative opinions based on unverifiable bullshite. Like I said, I'm sure you are aware of the absurd reputation LSU has (piss bags, spitting on women, etc.) and that's based on nothing.
