City Guide for Tiger football 1st timers

I noticed there's a lot of newcomers to the game this weekend. I thought it might help to make a list of the "Best of BR"

Eating and Drinking (crowd age)

Friday night check out The Chimes near the north gates of LSU. It's a must.
The Varsity Theater is right next door and is packed on Friday nights before games (18-25).
Saturday pre and post game Walk-Ons is always packed but since it's an earlier game, pregame will be better spent checking out campus
For late night breakfast, Louie's is right around the corner from The Chimes and The Varsity behind Blockbuster.
Other than the Chimes, some other good Cajun restaurants are Parrains, Mike Anderson's, and there's a new Acme Oyster House on Perkin's Road. Juban's is very good but be $prepared$.
If you want some Cajun music & atmosphere, check out Boudreaux & Thibodeaux's downtown on 3rd street(21+). The Roux House & Happy's are a block away(21-30).
If you're looking for a chill spot and a glass of wine, The Wine Loft is right off 3rd on Laurel(25+).

It's not that close to campus (10 mins) but Perkins Rowe has a few Restaurants and Bars that are really nice. Sorry but the website ain't working
Fox and Hound has pool tables and a nice bar(25+)
If it's sushi you want, you gotta check out the view of the river at Tsunami. The sushi is Ok.

If you want a live band, nice steak, and beautiful girls, Sullivan's is great but pricey(25+).

GAMEDAY
You need to be near the top of the hill when the team walks down, followed shortly there after by Mike the Tiger and the Golden Band from Tigerland. If you miss this, especially the band, you've missed the essence of LSU pregame. There will be an itinerary on dandydon.com by thursday or friday of exactly when everything will take place.

Gameday Parking Map. RV Lots are B and Touchdown village. the quality of the picture is terrible, I'll try to find another. As far as I've seen, the best free parking spot is the Kirby Smith parking lot. It's a short walk to the Indian Mound area. Then when leaving, it's easy as hell to get to I-10.

This is not UF, our main tailgating doesn't take place in our bars
This is not Ole Miss, we don't spend precious drinking time trying to out do our neighbors tailgate with frilly bullshite.
This is not Auburn, we start way before 2:00
THIS IS LSU, WE DO IT BETTER THAN ANYBODY!!!
