I say we trade in our coaching staff for these stooges.
Wow.
I'm a stooge because I think that Jordan Jefferson should start over Jarrett Lee.
I also prefer Coke Zero over Diet Coke, onion rings over french fries, and crawfish bisque over gumbo.
Does this also make me a stooge? Because I have an opinion that possibly differs from yours?
How old are you?

tducen and BT only type out facts.
if you disagree with facts about how JL is a good QB, you automatically hate jarrett lee.

Ummm...how do you figure this?
I feel that JJ is a better QB than JL.
How does that translate into me thinking I know better than the coaches?
Dude--you get totally irrational when this subject comes up.

Also, I expected the INT, as I mentioned earlier out of all the freshmen QB's in SEC past 10 years only Erik Ainge and Jay Cutler threw double digit touchdowns and less than 10 INT.
Who else threw 16 interceptions and a NCAA record 7 pick sixes in less than a full season? Who else was even close? Who else failed to improve like JL? More obsessive apologia for your idol you are obsessed with. Indeed, you obviously have some sort of unhealthy sexual infatuation with JL or something.
quote:
I expected 15 INT from him for the season, I was off by 1
Yeah right! So if God forbid JJ tosses 15 interceptions this year, you will forgive him and give him a free pass? I mean this will be his second year and all on the team like last year was JL’s second year on the team?
quote:
Pick 6 is something no one can determine and is more of a fluke stat than anything else because is usually happens so rarely.
Actually, one or two in a season are a fluke. However, 7 in less than a full season is no fricking fluke, it’s a bad habit!

Well they come from obviously a bad decision by the QB and then the returner having luck on his side. Last year LSU had no lucky breaks, from beginning of season with RP getting kicked off, to our #1 (Hatch) getting hurt.
It was a bad year and football Gods were against LSU.
And JL's 16 interceptions and 7 pick sixes had nothing to do with it! It was all because the football Gods were against us!
You are obviously a pervert or something because you are obviously obsessed with worshiping JL.

Yes obviously... because I do not think 1 player is to blame for 4 losses. Its a team game, as I said earlier there is many things that effect the outcome of games.
To sit here and blame 1 particular player for last years failures is ignorant. It was a combination of alot of things.
Indeed, man crush! I can only conclude that he wants to rub nuts with him or something!

That's what impresses me the most about JJ. He was a true freshman, yet always appeared to be in control of the situation.
In the SEC, freshmen QB's are usually overwhelmed by the speed of the game--like things are simply moving too fast for them.
With JJ, it was totally the opposite.
The sky's the limit with this kid.

He was a freshmen redshirt or not he still was a freshmen seeing his first action since high school.
Nevertheless, he was a redshirt freshman and JJ was a true freshman and played a hell of a lot better than he did.

mainly the defenders of JL
me - "I think JJ is a better QB than JL"
them - "Stop hating jarrett lee!!!"
me - "what? I don't 'hate' him. I just don't think he's better than JJ"

I feel the exact same way, and I would add that I didn't expect the O-line to get tossed around like rag dolls against Auburn, Florida, & Ole Miss either.
Yet even with all of that, JJ not only played much better than JL under the circumstances, he actually improved, while JL remained stagnant in game after game.
Nice attempt at apologia Doc!

I saw that the poster "tojo" has been banned permanently from this site.
I don't know if you ever saw his posts, but they were completely delusional.
