Just letting you know how you sound when you pick apart a freshman QB for not leading his team to more than 35 points.
Pick apart? Seriously? Good God.

I had no idea what you were trying to prove either.
I didn't set out to prove anything, I posted a fact that was seemingly contrary to the unabashed kool-aid fest that was going on, which turned into a witch hunt.

Doc likes the race card, he uses it 99% of time.
You might as well forget it, doesn't matter what stat you use, what fact you have, the only thing most of these people know is 16 and 7.
If you say JJ is far from a polished product like they would have you believe they get into a hissy fit.
If you agree that JL screwed up but say freshmen normally do not play well in SEC that is irrelevant.
If you say we still have same record with JJ as QB rather than JL it is a complete meltdown mode and they bringup Georgia and Bama. Not knowing how the offense would have reacted or if they would have managed to put up the yardage or the points.
This argument will not end, this argument as I have mentioned twice in this thread is pointless.
Hell Doc thinks Peterson should be returning kicks cause Charles Woodson did 4 his junior year.

IM not saying your defend JJ, but Lee.

And I posted a few facts as well.
See?
No big deal.

That's not a fact.
And fwiw, 35 points would have gotten us a win at Arkansas.

You know it would help if you posted accurate stats.
Lee was 4-3 as a starter

I think he was 4-4 actually, but carry on.

Jarrett Lee was unable to put up 52 points against Florida. That would've gotten us a win.
Jarrett Lee was unable to put up 53 points against Georgia. That would've gotten us a win.
Jarrett Lee was unable to put up 32 points against Ole Miss. That would've gotten us a win.

4-4 if you consider Ole Miss, but then would you give him Auburn since he played 3 quarters?

minus the fact your stats arent right either cause Lee started 8 games. hes 4-4 to be acurate. His first start was against Miss St and his last start was against Ole Miss.

What is your obsession with the Jarrett Lee comparisons? You seem to be the one that won't let JJ live outside of his shadow. You should let it go, seriously.

Its not a matter of considering. He either started or he didnt. He started against Ole Miss and didnt start against Auburn despite how much playing time he got in each respective game.

Are you sure about that?
As a starter?

Again read the post right above yours...
if were talking start to finish 4-3
If you wanna get into debate of half of time played, then you could consider Auburn since he came in second quarter and finished out game.

nah. it'll only go in his highlight reel and stats. according to this magnificent thread, I gotta stick to the facts.

We're on an LSU Tiger board talking LSU football. You claim it's obsessive of me to discuss lat year's QB that started the majority of the season.
Well then, is it obsessive of you to discuss a QB who started 2 games for the Tigers?
Hmmmm--now maybe we're getting somewhere.
