Hmm, kind of like JL last year?

But you actually have people implying that JJ could have done more to win the game, even though he led the squad to 30 points of error-free football.

Should we not expect more than 30 points a game from him? Or to put it another way, should we not expect him to put up enough points to ensure a win? We score another first down towards the end of the game and we win.

If JJ can actually get picked apart for the Arkansas game, I would literally be afraid to read most of the posts on this board if he even laced up his shoes wrong.

if the roles would have been reversed, I'd fear for JJ's life

Wow.

Talk about double standards.

JJ leads the team to a 30 to 14 lead in the third quarter, and it's his fault the Tigers lost. The defense is exonerated.

Jarret Lee throws multiple pick 6's and it's the other ten players' faults for not tackling the guys.

Like I said, I truly feel bad for JJ if he even laces up his cleats incorrectly--because there are people here who are gonna pile on.

This is Florida and Chris Leak all over again.

shite, look at the treatment of jamarcus russell by SOME fans...

even if Russell would have won a NC, there would be those people saying flynn could have done it better.

How so? Am I sitting here defending Lee's picks? Am I criticizing JJ for the Ole Miss game or anything else? Jesus some of you are so super-sensitive to everything. When someone brings up the performance at the end of ONE game, there's no reason to read some sort of underlying bias or double standard.

While I agree with pretty much everything Doc has said, it is opinion rather than logic.

uhhh for saying he scored an impressive 0 points in the last 28 minutes versus Arkansas could be percieved as putting down JJ. Use thing JL did to defend JL, not what JJ didnt do!

Could be perceived as doing so, but wasn't. I wasn't aware that posting undisputed facts was putting him down.

Jarret Lee was 3-3 as a starter with 16 interceptions, and 13 touchdowns.

Lee was benched in favor of true freshman Jordan Jefferson, who managed to salvage the Tigers' season by leading LSU to their most impressive win of the year over 14th ranked Ga Tech in the Peach Bowl. Jefferson was named the game's MVP.

These are also facts.

I don't know what you're trying to prove. You have somehow crafted a JL vs. JJ debate where none existed. Hopefully you will emerge victorious from your vigorous imaginary debate.

Just letting you know how you sound when you pick apart a freshman QB for not leading his team to more than 35 points.

I had no idea what you were trying to prove either.

I didn't say it was defending him, I said it wasn't putting him down.
