Peterson lowest win total was 7 wins. Most of his coaches are at big time schools he is only 56 and a offensive minded coach. Also really like working with Woodward

Peterson went 7-5 in his final year and stepped down due to stress/anxiety at Washington...and you think he'll survive down here in the most stressful division/conference of all college football?

Can’t remember which radio show I heard it on, but Apparently CP wants nothing to do with coaching anymore and is happily retired.

Ross Dellenger was on Jordy's show this morning and said he isn't interested in returning to coaching.

You might as well put McVay, Saban, and Andy Reid on your list

Give it up! Chris Peterson is a Pacific Northwest native and he's happily retired.

No one who quit bc the job was too stressful should be on the list

Peterson couldn’t handle the PAC-12. He sure as hell couldn’t handle the SEC West

Petersen could have taken any job in the country years ago when he was still at Boise State. Family and quality of life is more important to him than chasing accolades in the biggest spotlights.

Scott Woodward might be able to get him to think about it for a moment since he was the only one to pry him away from Boise and they had a good working relationship. The best pitch to Petersen would be a short stint, no longer than 5 or 6 years, get the culture turned around and lay a foundation with a successor waiting on deck.

With the resources at LSU, he could get that accomplished pretty quickly and have us back to competing for championships. Another thing Woodward can throw out there is the opportunity to work with the insane amount of talent that's going to be in the QB room with Johnson and Nussmeier followed by Walker Howard coming on board next year and the potential to recruit and develop Arch Manning.

He has a special needs kid. He prioritized family.
