shite…. 15 snaps with 5 go routes should be plenty.

I know he has that in him

Y'all are really banking on Chris Hilton being a game changer after not playing at all this year? Lmao I hope I’m wrong but I just don’t see it.

If he plays it’ll be situational or decoy

Needs more practice & game reps to be useful

If he can contribute 20-25 plays

That would be an insane workload.

With all the hype, I fully expect at least 250 yards receiving and 4 touchdowns for Hilton. He is so fast that the dbs may be 20-25 yards behind him on a go route. Real life cheat code

Not exaggerating I truly believe that adds a minimum of 7 points per game. He could never get a target and it would impact the game. We have a top 5 offense in the country and there hasn't been a play this season where the defense has truly had to worry about a burner running by them.

If that's true then it's game over. TAMU's secondary is their weak point defensively. Nuss misses so much deep, but he aint missing that speed.

I’d be happy to have him back and I think it could make an impact.

But, our lack of downfield passing has more to do with Nussmeier than it does with our WRs.

That’s great! I still want to see what we saw last night, 8-10 yard catches and moving the ball. Try the long pass as much as last game UNLESS it works right away

Even if he is clear to play he will have no chemistry with Nuss and the other WRs. We are just now clicking as a complete unit.

ETA: unpopular opinion but…

Do. Not. Want.

We can try again next year with Hilton

Hilton has been here as long as Nuss. I’d be willing to bet that Chris has caught more passes from Nuss than any other QB at LSU. 2nd QB to 2nd WR in practice everyday.

Also, nobody is asking Chris to run a full route tree. Just line up on the ball and sprint like hell down the field

Nice, but we only need him if he is fully healthy and effective....Lacy, AA, and CJ are doing just fine, IMO.....then add 14 and 86.....we OK.

13.3 yards per catch?

with that speed maybe he can average a little better than that for the rest of the season

They’ll probably smartly hold him until bama as its 2 more weeks

But he could probably give you 10-15ish snaps. Decoy mode.
