I honestly don't remember, Ben. But I would think it was from people like myself that were appalled at the hiring because we didn't believe he was qualified and that there were better options out there. But, I believe I only discussed the football side of Coach O and never attacked him personally. Again, I could be wrong because I admit that I was furious that he was hired
I was pissed about the hire too. I ranted and raved for about 45 minutes to an hour. Then I shook it off and climbed on board. I thought that there's something to be said for continuity.
We don't make these decisions so we're on the outside looking in.
As of right now coach O has LSU trending up. I think that he's building a championship team and I just hope I get to see it.

Hahaha .. I remember our first exchange, Ben. My thought process was that Ensminger wasn't proven and you were very adamant that he was going to be a success. You weren't very pleased with my position on the subject at all. I'm glad we found some common ground since though.

Your friends it seems just cant stand to see someone who thinks coach O is doing a good job and has LSU trending in the right direction. They just feel a strong need to call them cherios or village idiots and coach O the shrimp boat captain etc.
You cant make a positive post about coach O or Ensminger without the 5 or 6 of them to show up on the attack. Its weird how they all show up together regardless of tbe time of day or night.

I'm assuming you're taking about the same guys that argue with Roger and Ben everyday. Granted I don't read every post in every thread, but I don't recall any of the regular "haters" actually calling Orgeron a shrimp boat captain or any other personal attacks of the kind.

I'm glad that we get along too. I'm disappointed in the offense in 2018 but I understand why for the most part that they struggled.
I was horrified by the lack of athleticism at the tackle position. They simply have to fix it so they're not asking a running back to block an elite edge rusher.
I'm still confident that the offense will be fixed.

Come on man, you know good-N-hell-well that's true for the other side too. If someone criticizes the scheme or state coach O didn't have a great season because we lost 3 games, guys will come unglued
Now, in regards to "Shrimp Boat Captain" and other insults, that's entirely uncalled for.

At this point I see it the same. If I say the Oline needs to do better, I'd be called a Cheeri0. If I say we didn't have a great season I'd be labeled a Nega It's comical at this point. But hey, I know what I'm getting myself into when I check-in.

I'm a big-time CheeriO. And, IMO, Amanda is about as good a DC as there is in football - college or pro.
