@ the OP...

UT's offense put their defense in bad positions for the past few years. When you look at the roster as a whole, the talent level at LSU is much higher than UT's ( sure they have their standouts, but the overall talent isn't as good ).

But the real question is, how many points per game did other major colleges, particularly SEC ones, give up to 'teams with winning records' over the last 5 years? Without numbers to compare them to, you have no idea what his numbers look like.

Btw...UT was #2 or #3 in the nation last year on defense with probably their worse offense in 15 years. Put that in your pipe and smoke it! ;)

Good thing for us Washington doesn't have a winning record.

Well, if you're talking about the best defenses of all time - maybe you're not - Washington's 1991 squad is in the conversation

I dont think he is a guru but he is a upgrade from last year.

That being said, the worst SEC team could very well shut Washington out.

I mean, 0-12?? Really? You couldnt beat ONE cream puff team? Not one??

Hahaha, maybe Washington is the cream of the crop. And considering all the PAC10 creampuffs they have, that's a lot of cream!

Nobody seems to be talking about what Holt and Co. is going to do for the Husky defense.

I'm going to go out on a limb and have some faith in you guys. I think the Huskies will double their wins from last year.

What makes this guy so great again?

He only field defense which consistently top the polls for total defense and scoring defense in the nation year in and year out. And that was at Tennessee but here at LSU he has even more talent to work with. Be afraid

I don't think anyone's talking about what Holt and Co. can do because nobody can help some bottom tier weakass football team that takes it up the arse from Arizona, Stanford, Notre Dame, and Washington State all in the same season.

Fortunately that won't apply Saturday so we should be fine.
