Says "I'm excited to be with an offense". Haha

i dont blame him. we had a good offense for a total of one season while chavis was here.

depending on who we hire, losing chavis may or may not hurt us, but he did a good job while he was here. if we just had an avg offense we would probably have another natty.

i cant wait for that used car salesman named les miles to take his personality somewhere else. its old and worn out.

chief has his faults, but he hasnt been our problem the last few years. hell, i wouldnt try to be anything but mediocre if i knew i was superior to the guy i was working for, but had to listen to him and put up with him because hes a "leader" and hes "charismatic".

all that "miles is a great recruiter" stuff is true, but its because hes preying on dumbass, naive high school kids. how hard is that? its just a matter of having the stomach for it. telling a bunch of overrated primadonnas what they wanna here, kinda like selling a car to poor people, they dont know how to act when someone gives them compliments, etc.

im not sorry to see chief go, cause i think hes been on cruise control born of apathy due to an idiot ceo type head coach. i so wish miles wouldve taken the arky job a couple years ago, instead we gave another raise to a snake oil salesman.

Let's be honest with ourselves for just a few seconds. Chavis was the only coordinator ( Les included) doing his job at a high level. Chavis was the only bright spot on the team. Les and Cam were riding his success. If I were Chavis I'd be saying a hell of a lot more than one little barb.
If you try to think about this statement in context I'm sure it's exactly the way the man feels. Now he isn't carrying the whole organization on his shoulders. Chavis has been covering for an inept offense too long.
Chavis could see the writing on the wall. Les has been told to get the offense up to a competitive level or else. Les's days at LSU are numbered, thus so we're his. I'd want some security in my contract too if my job were linked to Les getting his offense out of the Stone Age.

He actually said "great" offense.

I'm fine with it. Miles takes shots at folks, so Chief learns from the best.

That's a fair thing for him to say. I would imagine he shakes his head constantly just like we do, but as a good soldier he has kept his mouth shut. When you keep your mouth shut for several years, and then are excited to be a part of a legit offense, then it is fair to make such a statement. No one should expect him to be perfect in his words, especially when what he says is 1000% true. I'm sure he is excited, and rightfully so, to know that his offense will do their part, and not put almost all of the pressure on his side of the ball to win the game.

Last year (2013) the offense carried the team.

that doesn't really sound like a 'shot.' I mean, TAMU is known for their offense.

Les has more class than that. He will find someone better and beat atm again next year with a so called bad offense.

You certainly can't expect him to say "I'm excited to be a part of this great defense."

know he is wrong in saying that he is going to a team with an offense. Has he forgotten all the times LSU needed a stop and he could not stop um and how many times did teams run over his defense. Looking forward to LSU defeating A&M next year. Geaux Tigers

He couldn't be too excited about it since he beat it three times!
