I'm too lazy to to calculate it, but do you have any idea what Keiland's TD per touch ratio is? Gotta be way up there.

i do also

but it's just easier to compare scott to cecil b/c they're similar runners with similar sizes and styles

keiland is a different breed of back

for the record, there is at least 1 NFL scout who gave KW a 1st round grade after the 2006 season. this is in response to all the people talking about cecil's (rumored) hype

So, you are saying Cecil Collins would be the 3rd best back on this team?

FYI, I think KW is better than Scott also.

he might be better than scott. i don't know

but if the reports of the "all around" back being favored, yes, collins would be a distant 3rd

he couldn't catch or block for shite

KW has run the ball 76 and 70 times
KW has caught the ball 4 and 9 times

146 + 13 = 159 touches

12 total TDs

13.25 touches = 1 TD

cecil isn't nearly as fast as bo

bo was a 4.2-4.3 guy like DMac

Cecil was, at best, a 4.45 guy. just look at his highlights

That is absurd. And, it says a lot about your ability to judge talent.

i didn't say it was my judge of talent

i was saying, on this roster, with what the coaches SUPPOSEDLY value (receiving, blocking, and then running), he'd be 3rd

He is now. But compared to Collins, it's not really close..as least so far.

Pretty damned strong if you ask me. And most of those TDs weren't 1 yarders either.

Dude, you've made 50ish posts in this thread insinuating it.

Why don't you say what your exact opinion is. Compared to the RBs on this roster, where would CC rank? Be specific.

and some were, like when they pulled hester as our short yardage back and put in KW against MSU

If I could put Joseph Addai or Jacob Hester's personality, football smarts, and hands into Cecil Collins' then 20 year old body, I'd take two for the backfield, three for linebackers and one safety. He was just built to play football.

But Scott is definitely in the same league, physically. A healthy Toefield would be right there, too.

then i just said cecil is overrated b/c his sample size wasn't big enough and people want to hang onto his legend

definitely behind KW. KW is just more explosive, can catch a lot better, and is scarier

i haven't seen scott carry the load as a #1 guy enough. nobody has

here's another guy

toefield is like cecil's scrawnier brother. he was never THAT great

that 1 year where he had like 19 TDs, he didn't even have 1,000 yards

people overrated toe so much there were dumbasses coming onto the rant saying he ran a 4.4 40 at the combine 2-3 days before RBs even ran. that's actually 1 thread that convinced me i had to join up to correct people

True...I always forget about that game. I really hope (if the rumors are true about why his PT is so low) that whatever differences he has with the staff are resolved. When he became an every down back in the 2nd half of 06, he was $.

the most forgotten 6-7 game stretch of any LSU RB ever, i believe

last year people seroiuslyy acted like hester had proven before 2007 that he was this #1 ballcarrier and keiland was an unproven talent, when keiland was our #1 back the 2nd half of 2006 (you know, when our running game stopped sucking dick)

and the MSU game is hilarious b/c i had a bunch of "ypc" arguments with people before 2006 and after that game they were JUMPING on me. then the VT game happened and they shut up...until florida
