His speed is no good if he can't get on base. I'd bat him 7-9 until he snaps out of it.

Are you guys serious with this shite? Do you even pay attention to stats? He's leading the team in runs (14) and is 2nd to Rhymes in on base % (.362). This is in SEC games, which are the ones that matter.

Care to explain your claim that Jones isn't getting on base enough?

Oh wait, you're wrong about it so you won't acknowledge the facts

Snickeris or Edward when healthy for DH. Foster sucks at the plate so dont play him other than that, the same as tonight except switch Fields and Jones

Jones isn't going anywhere while they are still winning. He's the most talented player on the team. Mainieri is going to let him work through it. I've seen him do it Dean and he's going to stick with Jones until he is costing us wins. If he gets right, the top of that lineup will be incredible.

Well I posted some stats, which are correct. He's been a big part of our success and a big contributor to our 12-4 record to this point.

Yeah, he's slumping right now but I won't be surprised at all if he comes out tomorrow and gets on base a few times.

Why was Arby Fields on the bench at the beginning of this year? He may not have a ton of at bats but he already has 16 hits and a .480 on base percentage. He seems to be really good defensively and offensively. How are guys like Sciambre and Foster better than him? Those guys on base percentages are in the low 300's. I understand Fields may not be a starter but how did he not get a start now and then on the weekends?

Right, and he's not on the bench, either. When he was on the bench he was batting around .150.
