In only 7 of the 14 years, did a national seed win the title. None did it from 2004-2008. LSU and Miami have done it twice.
The team that has choked the most as a national seed.......Georgia Tech. Fla St is predictably 2nd.
Georgia tech has been a national seed 6 times and has made it to Omaha once in those years.

I would say about 25% to 33%. This is assuming we get a national seed.

Thanks for taking the time. A little higher than I expected, but I still say LSU's chances are roughly 50%, especially with the differences in the bats, compared to previous seasons.
