Some of New Orleans' facilities are very good, and Houston's are the best in the country-better than NY. Best of luck to Chad.

no, it's not their responsibility.
but it is in their best interest (financially) to insure their players for both on and off field injuries.

if CJ never plays again, a 3rd round pick is a pretty steep loss for the team.

I'm almost certain that the NFL itself is responsible for players' health insurance, so I would assume Jones already had gotten his health insurance and the NFL would be picking up the tab on this one.

I could be wrong, but that is my line of thinking here.
