Not correct. If a student is on scholarship and plays 2 sports the scholarship must count toward footballs numbers.
Jared Mitchell is on football scholarship and also plays baseball.
Trindon Holiday is on fottball scholarship and also runs track.
It is a rule put in a long time ago to stop Bear Bryant from getting extra scholarships for football by putting guys on scholarship in other sports.

until we build a 90k capacity baseball stadium there is not alot of debate
