Same people predicted Lee would throw 3 INTs v. WVU.

That's all well and good, but unless his next eight games match the production of his first four, he doesn't have a chance. And yes, I realize the practical impossibility, even as awesome as he is, for that to happen.

He should still get some top consideration for the defensive awards at the end of the year. He has been making huge plays on national television. He's already becoming a house hold name as a sophomore.

He has 13 forced turnovers in 17 games. What is the NCAA career record for forced turnovers? Do they even keep that stat?

i think it would be massive if he just gets to new york. ya, he wont win it, but it would be a huge statement and were not traditionally a team with a heisman finalist

I don't know. TM7 homes in on the football like no defensive player I've ever seen. Don't put it down as such a practical impossibility.

Let's just say, for the sake of argument, he IS in the mix towards the end of the year...what a great story. A 2-star recruit at DB a candidate for College Football's highest honor. The heads of the guys running the recruiting services would explode.

the thing he has going for him is that in the medias mind going back to the bowl game in our biggest games on the biggest stage so far he has come up with big plays. We have had the ABC primetime game of the week and gameday at 2 of the 4 games this season and in both games he made multiple game changing plays. Thats the kind of stuff that wins you the heisman. You have to be consistant, but also shine when the spotlights on you. 99% chance he doesnt win it but if he can keep this kind of production against florida and bama I think he goes to New york

If he has a punt return TD in a big game, I'd put him as a virtual lock to finish top 10.
