3. Do not schedule a good team in Week 1
There’s no point.
LSU started to make a few timing errors and weird penalties that probably get cleaned up if it was got in a light scrimmage against the University of the Blind in Week 1.
Best guess - this will be a much sharper LSU in Week 4 than the version that showed up in Las Vegas.
The idea of hosting Notre Dame sounds good - especially to get a new era off to a roaring start - but how much fun did Texas A&M have in a super-frustrating night for the offense?

Everyone on here agrees with this. You should be playing your best and playing THE best at the end of the season. Give me North Texas as an opener any damn season over FSU and USC.

I think LSU needs to do everything in their power to either move a game currently scheduled to week 0 or cancel a game and schedule a new one in week 0. I have no issue with playing strong teams. Its just such a gamble to play them without any kind of tune up.

Just flip-flop the games, Nicholls as an opener USC week two.

Screw big out of conference games. I rather make the playoffs and play them there.

This is why I quit going to these destination games. We want to play in Death Valley.
